TRAINING HUB
TRAIN FOR THE FUTURE
To address the new challenges of the 21st century in a polarized social climate.
We collaborate with higher education institutions to promote engaged research on transitions and support the training of students aspiring to work on these transitions. We offer masterclasses for the professional world that respond to the growing quest for meaning and commitment among an increasing number of decision-makers.
INNOVATIVE SEMINARS
With its experience in project-based pedagogy,
the association offers masterclasses focused on the professional world for individuals who wish to actively participate in transitions. It provides customizable seminars, making it easier to incorporate them into already busy schedules..
Decision-makers, employees, entrepreneurs, students…
We support individuals seeking knowledge and meaning who want to make a significant impact to improve the world.

THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL
As a researcher in socio-ecological systems, I explore transition dynamics and leverage points for change, particularly through participatory modeling and serious games. I have applied these approaches in international projects, such as climate change adaptation in Madagascar or my research in partnership on sustainable and ethical transitions in food systems.
At APALA, I bring this expertise to combine a rigorous and operational scientific approach. The strength of the association lies in creating bridges between research and entrepreneurship, helping to structure reflection and maximize impact.
Trained as a physicist, I developed my expertise at ENS and ESPCI before earning my PhD in 2022. Passionate about knowledge sharing, I founded Veganalytic in 2020 to address a gap: creating a bridge between academic research on the health and ecological effects of plant-based diets and the general public, often exposed to messages that are out of sync with the current scientific state of the art.
By joining APALA’s scientific council, I pursue a dual goal: refining the analysis of scientific evidence by staying up-to-date with the literature and making this knowledge more accessible to support informed and impactful choices.
THE PROGRAM
RESPOND POSITIVELY
TO THE SEARCH FOR MEANING
WHAT DOES SCIENCE SAY
about the state of the planet?
By revisiting scientific discourses on climate change, biodiversity loss, and resource stocks, we show that the situation is far from hopeless and that research offers many opportunities to improve the state of the planet.
THE MISTAKES
of calls for desertion.
In relation to the environmental situation, we demonstrate that calls for “desertion” are unjustified and could potentially lead to a situation worse than the one they seek to escape.
Making the scientific approach more accessible.
The goal of the masterclasses is to shed light on the processes that allow society to improve by identifying the best levers to achieve this. They aim to encourage the right behavioral changes while helping to prioritize actions.
Help adopt a constructive approach towards otherness.
The masterclasses also aim to avoid the mindset of a soldier trying to convince, and instead foster that of an explorer, to both learn as much as possible, adjust one’s worldview, and share what seems to most accurately reflect the reality we are trying to describe. They teach how to remain intrigued rather than threatened when confronted with information that challenges our beliefs.
Guide towards high-impact careers
These masterclasses focus on the efficiency of means in service of the coherence of ends. They encourage investing one’s limited energy into a transformative and fulfilling future that will shape the world of tomorrow.
